Jaranova Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Jaranova, we may collect contact and account information, merchant business information, delivery order and address information, device and technical information, support communications, payment or payout-related information, and records generated while using our delivery services.

For drivers, this may also include precise location during active delivery activity, identity and eligibility information, driver licence and insurance documentation, vehicle information, proof-of-delivery photos and signatures, and payout account status. 2. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure our services; create and administer accounts; verify drivers and merchants; calculate, dispatch and track deliveries; communicate service updates; process or facilitate payouts and billing; provide support; prevent fraud and misuse; maintain records; improve service reliability; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Location information

When location features are enabled, Jaranova may process precise device location to support active delivery navigation, dispatch, ETA calculations, route progress and delivery tracking. Driver location is intended to be shared only with authorized parties for active delivery operations and is not displayed publicly.

4. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Jaranova, such as cloud hosting, mapping and routing, communications, payment and payout processors, and delivery fulfillment providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction. Jaranova does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

5. Payments and payouts

Payment and payout services may be provided by third-party payment processors such as Stripe. Those providers may collect financial information directly under their own privacy terms. Jaranova may receive account identifiers, onboarding status, payout status and transaction records needed to operate the service.

6. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account administration, delivery history, support, security, accounting, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Some operational or financial records may be retained after account deletion where required or permitted by law. Sensitive identity documents are restricted to authorized administrative access and are removed when no longer reasonably required.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted network transmission. No system can guarantee absolute security, and users are responsible for protecting their account credentials.

8. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. Drivers may request account deletion through our Driver Account & Data Deletion page. You may also contact us for a privacy request that does not require account deletion.

9. Children

Jaranova Driver is intended for adults who are eligible to perform delivery work and is not directed to children. Our business delivery services are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children as account holders.

10. International processing

Service providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate. Where required, we use contractual or other safeguards appropriate to the transfer.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
